Childcare Associate Teacher

We are looking for Early Educators who have passion for working with children and love what they do.

The Associate Teacher provides flexible support across classrooms.

We are looking for teachers with at least 12 units of child development and at least 3 units of infant/toddler units. Fingerprints Livescan , CPR, TB Test, up to date immunizations MMR and physical will be required.

Duties

• Support multiple classrooms as needed to maintain proper staff-to-child ratios.
• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities.
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, diapering, and nap time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
• Follow lesson plans and support lead teachers in implementing curriculum.
• Step into classrooms to provide coverage during breaks or absences.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families.
• Adapt quickly to different age groups and classroom settings.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
• Support early intervention strategies for children who may need additional assistance in their learning journey.
• Flexible schedule to open at 7 am or be a closer till 6 pm

Qualification

• Minimum of 12 qualified units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) in these courses: Child growth and development, or human growth and development; Child, family and community, or child and family; and Program/Curriculum.
• 3 infant/toddler unit.
• 1 year experience working with children ages 0-5 years old.
• Acquired skills in providing tender loving care and support to children.
• Skills and abilities to maintain friendly and successful communication with parents.
• Ability to establish successful teamwork with other teaching staff.
• Fingerprint clearance for DOJ, FBI, CACI.
• Health Screening. TB clearance.
• Immunizations including TB, Measles, Pertussis, FLU or FLU waiver.
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid.
• Preventive Health & Safety that includes Lead Safety Training.
• Mandated Reporter Training AB 1207.
