Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing and providing supervision for daily maintenance operations.

Primary Position Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment by meeting company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain overall equipment reliability.
- Meet daily with production supervision and staff to understand critical issues for the day.
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement.
- Work with planners/scheduler to coordinate maintenance work tasks.
- Determine the schedules (daily, weekly, vacations) and workload for staff.
- Oversee and administer duties relating to the computerized maintenance system.
- Assess and schedule staff training needs.
- Evaluate staff and make hiring and termination regulations.
- Comply to and enforce company and regulatory rules and procedures.
- Maintain budget and advise on budgetary/financial needs.
- Maintain effective working relationships and cooperation with the management team to effectively meet departmental and company objectives.
- Assist in developing and implementing goals, objectives, policies and work standards for the department and company.
- Must have leadership skills
- Sharp analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of employee supervision and safe maintenance activities.
- Conduct yearly staff performance reviews.
- Follow all safety, food safety, & GMP rules and regulations.
- Conduct other duties as assigned by management .
