About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Technical Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate training programs to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of employees or clients as it relates to our Batteries. You will play a key role in empowering individuals to excel in their roles by providing engaging, hands-on learning experiences tailored to their needs.
Your primary responsibility will be to train our technicians in the field as well as interact with customers as needed on the details of our batteries and chargers.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, organizing, and conducting technical product and system training, both internally and for customers.
- Development, creation, and continuous updating of training content, materials, and concepts.
- Implementation of training formats in-person, online, as well as e-learning formats (self-learning).
- Technical consulting and support for the entire product portfolio.
- Coordination with the departments of development, production, sales, after-sales, and service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred
- Very good MS Office skills (creation of training materials). Good knowledge in the areas of image editing, video production, and content creation in general required
- Experience in the field of lead-acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries, battery controllers, and charging technology preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally on occasion between 10% and 25% of the time
- German language knowledge a plus
