What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathologist position at Sunflower Speech?
We are seeking one full-time in clinic SLP as well as 2 part time in clinic SLP’s to join our team!
Sunflower Speech, PLLC is a neurodiveristy affirming, child-led, play-based, family-centered clinic that specializes in providing high-quality pediatric and early intervention services in the areas of Speech-Langauge Pathology and Occupational Therapy. Our clinic features a little town village buildout to utilize during therapy to encourage activities of daily life and functional vocabulary. We are seeking qualified, energetic, organized and dedicated speech-language pathologists to fit in with our therapy family and work with a partially established caseload of pediatric patients. Full-time position would be from approximately 8:30/9:00/9:30-5/5:30/6. For part-time, we also have a partial established afternoon case load with flexible hours. We specialize in early intervention and preschool age children, but do have a varied pediatric caseload up to age 10.
Full time position is a w2 position and can be hourly or salary, depending on candidates preference. Position is able to be 4, 4.5, or 5 days per week depending on preference. Salary is $70,000 for CCC-SLP’s and $65,000 for CF-SLP’s. Minimum of 35/hrs a week scheduled on case load. Incentive pay: all direct therapy hours over 35/hrs a week to be paid at $40/hr in addition to salary pay. PTO for salary: 10 days 80 hrs of personal time/sick time. w2 hourly option is $46.17/hr for CCC-SLP’s and $43/hr for CF-SLP’s.
1099 hourly is available for part-time employees or w2 hourly depending on candidates preference. For 1099, hourly is $50-55/hour for CCC-SLP’s and $48-50/hour for CF-SLP’s. Afternoons preferred. Part-time hours anywhere from 8-20/week.
$200/month towards health insurance
Paid CEU’s
These positions are ready to begin ASAP. We are accepting applications if you will be a graduate in the Summer Semester.
Duties will include but are not limited to providing evaluations, treatment sessions, and written documentation.
Knowledge in neurodiversity affirming practice, Gestalt Language Processing (eval and treatment) and interest in pediatric feeding is preferred.
Must be licensed in the State of Florida and have a passion for early intervention pediatric therapy. CFs or upcoming CFs are welcome to apply!
Current Medicaid number preferred but not required.
