Part-Time Children’s Music Instructor
Do you love music, movement, and helping children learn through joyful experiences? Petal Path Montessori Academy is looking for a warm, engaging, and energetic Children’s Music Instructor to lead small-group music classes for young children in a creative, nurturing environment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time music instructor to lead evening children’s music classes:
- 2–4 evenings per week
- Classes start around 4:30 PM
- Small group setting
- Ages approximately 2–8 (age groups may vary)
This is an ideal role for a music educator, performer, early childhood teacher, or someone who loves working with children and bringing music to life.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate music and movement classes
- Incorporate singing, rhythm activities, instruments, and creative movement
- Create a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children and families
- Arrive prepared and ready to lead structured yet playful sessions
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
Qualifications
- Experience working with children (teaching, coaching, childcare, camps, etc.)
- Background in music, education, performance, or child development preferred
- Comfortable leading groups with enthusiasm and confidence
- Reliable, positive, and creative personality
- Ability to pass background checks as required
