Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for a Culinary Director located in Rockville, MD. The Culinary Director will oversee menu development, manage kitchen operations, and supervise the purchasing and inventory of ingredients. Key responsibilities include leading culinary staff training, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards, and maintaining kosher compliance. The Culinary Director will contribute to the growth of the bakery through innovative recipe development, fostering creativity and dedication within the team.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Cooking and Culinary Skills
- Experience in Food & Beverage operations
- Proficiency in Menu Development and innovation
- Strong skills in Purchasing and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and compliance with kosher dietary guidelines
- Excellent leadership, organization, and team management abilities
- Strong communication skills and passion for mentoring team members
- Experience in training or working with individuals with learning differences is a plus
- A culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
