Position Title: HR Recruiter

Salary Range: $50,000–$55,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
Position Summary:
The HR Recruiter is responsible for supporting and managing the company’s recruitment and staffing efforts. This position will be primarily dedicated to identifying, attracting, screening, interviewing, and coordinating qualified candidates for open positions.
The HR Recruiter will work closely with the Human Resources Manager and hiring managers to understand staffing needs, maintain an active candidate pipeline, coordinate interviews, and move qualified candidates through the hiring process efficiently.
This position will also provide support with pre-employment requirements, new hire onboarding, employee records, and other HR administrative responsibilities as needed. The HR Recruiter will serve as an important resource in ensuring the company maintains adequate staffing levels and hires employees who are qualified and a good fit for the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing
- Manage the day-to-day recruitment process for hourly, production, administrative, and other open positions.
- Post and maintain job openings on appropriate job boards and recruitment platforms.
- Review applications and resumes and identify candidates who meet position requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and screening interviews.
- Develop and maintain an active candidate pipeline for current and anticipated staffing needs.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely follow-up.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, job expectations, and candidate qualifications.
- Assist with recruiting events, hiring events, job fairs, and other recruitment initiatives.
- Track recruitment activity, candidate status, interview outcomes, and hiring progress.
- Identify challenges affecting recruitment and recommend solutions to improve applicant flow and hiring results.
- Help ensure open positions are filled as quickly as possible while maintaining appropriate hiring standards.
Pre-Employment & Hiring Process
- Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, drug screenings, employment verification, and required documentation.
- Communicate hiring requirements and next steps to selected candidates.
- Prepare and maintain new hire paperwork.
- Coordinate start dates with candidates, hiring managers, and HR.
- Ensure required employment documentation is completed accurately and timely.
- Assist with maintaining accurate candidate and recruitment records.
New Hire Onboarding
- Coordinate and support new employee onboarding and orientation.
- Assist new hires with completing required employment documentation and onboarding requirements.
- Complete and maintain I-9 employment verification documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding activities with supervisors and department managers.
- Ensure new hires receive required information regarding company policies, procedures, schedules, and expectations.
- Maintain accurate new hire records.
HR Administrative Support
- Assist the Human Resources Manager with general HR administrative responsibilities as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee and HR records.
- Assist with employee status changes, transfers, promotions, and other personnel updates.
- Support HR reporting and data tracking.
- Assist with employee engagement activities and company initiatives.
- Support HR projects, audits, and compliance-related activities as assigned.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding employee information and HR matters.
Employee Relations & HR Support
- Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for employee questions and general HR matters.
- Direct employee relations concerns to the Human Resources Manager when appropriate.
- Assist with employee communications and HR initiatives.
- Support supervisors and managers with HR-related processes as directed by the Human Resources Manager.
Other Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
- Support updates to HR policies and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of recruiting or Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or high-volume hiring environment.
- Experience recruiting for production, manufacturing, warehouse, or hourly positions preferred.
- Strong understanding of recruitment and candidate screening practices.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS, job boards, or recruiting platforms preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to maintain an active candidate pipeline.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and candidate information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Bilingual skills preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in both an office and manufacturing environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, candidates, supervisors, and management.
- Ability to conduct interviews and interact with candidates and employees throughout the facility.

Position Structure
The HR Recruiter reports directly to the Human Resources Manager and is primarily responsible for supporting the company’s recruitment and staffing needs. The position is designed to provide dedicated recruitment support, allowing the Human Resources Manager to focus on broader HR responsibilities, including employee relations, compliance, payroll, attendance, HR administration, and organizational development. The HR Recruiter will work closely with department managers and supervisors to understand staffing needs and ensure qualified candidates are identified and moved efficiently through the hiring process.
