Sundigo Solar is a solar panel manufacturing company located in Lyerly, GA. We are looking for motivated Production Workers to join our growing team on the manufacturing floor. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced position that offers competitive pay and significant overtime earning potential.
Responsibilities
- Perform solar panel assembly and production line operations with accuracy and efficiency
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality
- Operate and monitor production equipment safely and effectively
- Safely operate forklifts, power tools, hand tools, and mechanical equipment as required
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs using basic mechanical knowledge
- Inspect finished products and components to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Support warehouse operations, including organizing inventory and loading/unloading materials and shipments
- Meet daily production targets and contribute to overall team performance goals
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow all safety protocols and immediately report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues
- Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with assembly processes, hand tools, and power tools is advantageous
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus; certification is encouraged but not mandatory
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic machinery maintenance are beneficial
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to follow safety procedures consistently
Schedule & Hours
- Full-time position
- Monday through Saturday schedule (Sunday off)
- 12-hour shifts per day (day or night shift as assigned)
- Heavy overtime schedule with extended weekly hours available
- Overtime pay applies for all hours over 40 per week (1.5x rate)
Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- No prior manufacturing experience required – on-the-job training provided
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Pay
- $17.00 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours over 40/week
