We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager to support planning and execution across multiple teams. This role is responsible for managing workflows, tracking progress, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while coordinating across multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Provide and manage projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools (within reason) for effective project delivery and approvals
Help account manage internal tasks from creative to operational needs
Establish risks on projects that may impede project delivery and coordinate solutions as they come up
Monitor and analyze project flow to identify opportunities to improve and underuse to generate cost savings for future
Work closely with assigned department leads to monitor daily project activities and track changes
Record meeting notes for meetings and generate follow-ups with a clear set of next steps for each person/department
Create a daily, or weekly, hotlist for the assigned EFOC department leads
Manage import and export of files to select internal departments, clients, or third-party vendors while ensuring all files are backed up on the preferred management system (Google Drive, SharePoint, or Dropbox)
Prepare and manage timelines in collaboration with EFOC department leads
Support the creation of systems, tools, and documents as noted
Maintain a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
Provide daily flash reporting throughout the event, complete the overall recap reporting and role process flows for the Essence Festival of Culture 2026.
Qualifications
Experience managing projects and processes
Ability to work across teams and coordinate tasks
Strong problem-solving and risk management skills
Good organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
Clear communication and follow-up skills
Ability to create timelines, action items, and track progress
Experience with file management systems (Google Drive, SharePoint, or Dropbox)
Comfortable using project management tools
