About the Role
Role Overview: The Part-Time Marketing Intern/Coordinator will provide hands-on support to the marketing department in day-to-day operations, partner outreach, and event activations. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the fundamentals of brand marketing while gaining exposure to the fast-paced cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Organization: Assist in organizing, maintaining, and distributing marketing materials, samples, and event kits.
- Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate shipments of marketing assets and product samples to retail partners, influencers, and collaborators.
- Onsite Event Support: Help with set-up, execution, and breakdown of marketing activations, trade shows, and brand events.
- Administrative Support: Track inventory of marketing collateral and assist with budget tracking, vendor coordination, and reports.
- Partner Support: Provide assistance with retailer and partner requests, ensuring timely fulfillment and follow-up.
- Team Collaboration: Support cross-functional marketing initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing logistics, shipping, and inventory tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving attitude.
- Able to lift and transport materials for events (up to 25 lbs).
- Interest in marketing, events, and brand-building; experience in cannabis or CPG a plus.
- Must be 21 and legally able to work in California.
