Role Description The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA, supporting the execution of marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness and drive engagement for PLUGplay and related product lines. This position coordinates day-to-day marketing activities, including campaign planning, content scheduling, creative asset management, and cross-functional project coordination. The role works closely with internal teams, retail partners, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure marketing projects are delivered on time and aligned with brand standards.


The Marketing Coordinator supports social media and digital marketing efforts, assists with event planning and promotional activations, and helps manage influencer and merchandise programs. Responsibilities include organizing marketing materials, coordinating retail marketing initiatives, tracking project timelines, and maintaining consistent brand messaging across all channels. This team member will also monitor campaign performance, conduct market research, and compile reports that support data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced consumer brand environment.


Qualifications

  • Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to create clear messaging, collaborate cross-functionally, and represent the brand professionally.
  • Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, managing project timelines, and supporting creative asset development from planning through execution.
  • Knowledge of social media, digital marketing, content scheduling, email marketing, and brand management best practices.
  • Experience supporting merchandise programs, including product sourcing, vendor coordination, inventory tracking, apparel, promotional products, or branded merchandise initiatives.
  • Experience with retail marketing, including in-store promotions, point-of-purchase materials, retail partnerships, and sales support activities.
  • Strong research and reporting skills, including the ability to analyze campaign performance, conduct market and competitor research, and present actionable insights.
  • Ability to coordinate marketing events, product activations, trade shows, community initiatives, and promotional campaigns.
  • Experience managing vendor, influencer, or partner relationships while ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within brand standards.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain documentation, prepare presentations, and support day-to-day marketing operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, presentation software, and project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Notion, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with cannabis, consumer packaged goods (CPG), lifestyle, or retail brands is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Los Angeles, CA, in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and business needs.
