Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education (RSP) Teacher to join our team. The Special Education (RSP) Teacher will oversee all aspects of special education services within our organization, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with disabilities. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to advocating for the needs of students. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement policies and procedures for special education programs in accordance with state and federal regulations. • Provide leadership and guidance to special education staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and support personnel. • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, parents, and community stakeholders to support the academic, social, and emotional needs of students with disabilities. • Oversee the evaluation and identification of students eligible for special education services. • Develop comprehensive assessments and individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure they are implemented. • Support students with special needs by implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and providing accommodations as needed. • Assist students with mobility, toileting, and other personal care needs, as required, with sensitivity and professionalism. • Create a schedule for special education staff to ensure students are receiving their required minutes. • Monitor the progress of students receiving special education services, adjusting interventions and supports as needed to promote student success, as directed by administration. • Coordinate professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in working with students with disabilities. • Serve as a liaison between the school district and external agencies, advocating for resources and support services for s

• Valid state certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher. (Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Severe) • Autism authorization required. • Preferred experience in special education leadership roles, specifically in a TK-8 educational setting. • Applied behavior Analysis (ABA) training preferred. • In-depth knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices. • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in supervising and supporting special education staff. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and advocating for the needs of students with disabilities. • Ability to analyze data, evaluate program effectiveness, and make data-driven decisions. • Proficiency in technology, including educational software and data management systems.
