Job Summary
2026-2027 school year opening Part time opening, 4.5 hours per day. Estimated work times*: 11:00-3:30 *Actual work times may vary depending on need • Provide customer service; • Maintain organization and cleanliness in the shop and the storage shed; • Decorate the shop for season’s and holidays; • Prepare bakery items and beverages; • Prepare lunch as availability allows; • Deliver bakery items, lunches, and beverages to staff on campus as availability allows; • Organize and assist with events and fundraising including pumpkin patch, Santa pictures, etc.; • Order supplies and products for the shop; • Price and display merchandise; • Maintain accurate inventory records; • Oversee Ag Marketing class and instructs students on the basics, of cleaning, food handling, customer service, placing orders, processing bills, writing checks, marketing, and inventory; • Balance the cash register daily; • With the assistance of students, prepare deposits and payments to vendors; • Provide food and water for animals, as needed; • Oversee students in the garden and classroom, as needed; • Assist in the garden and care for animals, as needed; • Maintains order and proper discipline of students according to District Policy; • Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Two (2) years of college or, with administrative approval, the ability to receive a passing score on the Instructional Aide Exam administered by the Tulare County Office of Education to meet the requirements of California Education Code 45330. • Food handlers certificate preferred
