Suncore is seeking a driven Gravel & Asphalt Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll build relationships with customers, research new markets, and drive sales by presenting and quoting products. With a focus on customer service and strategic thinking, you’ll work closely with managers and dispatch teams to ensure project success. Things You’ll Do
- Describe, present, and sell products.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Investigate new markets and products.
- Research project requirements and determine sales prospects for products.
- Establish prices in the accounting system for products and services.
- Quote prices for products and freight to current and prospective customers.
- Prepare and maintain accurate sales, activity, and expense reports.
- Monitor customer job progress and accuracy of product tickets and orders.
- Perform credit collection on past due accounts for assigned customers.
- Assist in dispatch when needed.
- Establish working relationships with employees that have initial contact with customers.
- Work closely with managers to determine customer requirements, coordinate the availability of products, and evaluate cost and pricing.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Bachelor of Science degree in sales, marketing or related field preferred
- Customer focused
- Excellent customer service skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills
- Ability to review and analyze financial information
- Strategic thinking skills
- Detailed knowledge of concrete and aggregate products
