Job Summary:
- Setup and operate CNC machinery such as, but not limited to:
- HAAS VF type Milling Machines
- ProtoTrak Milling Machines
Job Responsibilities:
- · Setup and operate CNC Milling Machines (HAAS, ProtoTrak, or similar)
- · Change offsets and tools as necessary
- · Machine parts, de-bur, load and clean parts
- · Provide shop support as needed
- · Keep CNC running at all times
- · Change tools when worn out
- · Editing CNC programs as needed
- · Maintain CNC Machinery according to maintenance schedules
- · Communicate all concerns, issues, problems, etc. directly to Production Manager
- · Inspect parts from initial set up, maintain inspection reports, reorder tooling, maintain equipment
Qualifications:
- · High school diploma or equivalent required, vocational schooling or apprentice training is preferred
- · Knowledge of CNC Machine controls
- · Basic G-code understanding
- · Use of measuring tools
- · Saw cutting raw materials, deburing & polishing parts.
- · Use of Surface Grinders
- · 3 years of experience required
Skills and Abilities:
- Basic Computer Skills
- Blueprint Reading
Work Environment: Comfortable climate controlled Shop with Air Filtration
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand on feet for extended periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour
