We are thrilled to announce an opening for a CNC Milling Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in 3 -axis CNC machining, programming, and process improvement, with experience operating CNC milling vertical and horizontal machines . This role requires attention to detail, precision, the ability to work collaboratively in a job shop environment and work well with others.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Program CNC machines using Mastercam 24 and SolidWorks languages as necessary.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery safely and effectively to complete tasks.
- Conduct inspections of finished products using GD&T principles to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience as a horizontal and vertical CNC Machinist in a job shop environment.
- Proficiency in programming CNC machines is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with tooling setups and the ability to troubleshoot machining issues effectively.
- Knowledge of GD&T principles is preferred for quality assurance purposes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
- Strong horizontal and vertical machining on medium to large scale parts
- over head gantry crane training a plus
