Duties and Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned.
- Follows established cleaning schedule.
- Completes daily dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping of all common areas.
- Follows established schedule for deep cleaning of resident rooms.
- Cleans administrative offices as scheduled.
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.
Cleans carpets and mop all floors upon request.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly environment for all residents.
- Ensures and supports a dignified and caring atmosphere for residents, families, visitors, and associates.
9. Responds, promptly and courteously to residents’, families, and visitors’ requests of assistance."'
- Speaks with residents showing empathy, kindness, compassion, and respect.
- Communicate effectively in a language that each resident can understand.
- Maintains a safe and secure working environment free of objects/situations that could cause harm and/or falls to residents, family’s visitors and associates.
- Practices good body mechanics and safe working habits."
- Observes and reports safety hazards immediately to supervisor.
- Aids associates when requested or required.
- Knows, understands, and follows established policy and procedures in emergency situations.
- It is considered essential personnel during emergencies and/or inclement weather. It is required to report or remain at community until released by supervisor.
- Works as a team player with other associates and management in accomplishing work assignments.
- Always detonates a positive and respectful attitude about work issues, policies and procedures.
- Completes with attendance and call off policy.
- Attends and/or participates in training, in-service and mandatory meetings.
- Wear clean and appropriate dress according to the established dress code policy:
- Refrains from discussing resident issues with families and visitors and refers all inquiries to immediate nursing supervisor.
- Knows, understands, and complies with HIPAA regulations
- Performs all other reasonable duties as assigned or as requested.
