ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Marketing Campaign Execution and Systems Support
• Execute marketing campaigns across email, SMS, CRM, and social media platforms
• Build, schedule, and deploy campaigns within marketing systems
• Maintain campaign calendars and track deadlines to ensure timely execution
• Support audience segmentation, list management, and targeted outreach efforts
• Collaborate with recruitment, operations, and leadership to align messaging with donor collection needs
Content and Creative Support
• Create and coordinate print and digital marketing materials, including flyers, signage, emails, presentations, and social media graphics
• Maintain consistent brand voice and visual identity across all communications
• Draft, edit, proofread, and format content for donor-facing and internal communications
• Prepare marketing materials for campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives
Event and Program Support
• Coordinate logistics for blood drives, community events, donor recognition efforts, and promotional campaigns
• Prepare and organize materials, signage, giveaways, and supplies for events
• Provide on-site event support, including setup, execution, and breakdown
• Coordinate with vendors and assist with event-related ordering and planning
• Track participation and assist with post-event follow-up and feedback collection
Community Outreach and Engagement
• Support relationship-building with local businesses, schools, and community partners
• Assist in identifying outreach and partnership opportunities
• Represent SunCoast Blood Centers at community events and networking opportunities
• Support promotion of campaigns and events within the local community
Marketing Materials, Inventory, and Administrative Support
• Coordinate distribution of marketing materials and donor incentives to donor centers and mobile teams
• Maintain accurate inventory of marketing supplies and promotional items
• Assist with vendor coordination, ordering, and tracking of materials
• Maintain organized records of campaigns, contacts, inventory, and partnerships
• Support basic reporting, tracking, and data entry related to marketing initiatives
Additional Responsibilities
• Participate in organizational meetings and professional development activities
• Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational success

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, including event materials and supplies
Environmental Requirements
• Primarily office-based with regular participation in community events
• Local travel required to donor centers, events, and community locations
• Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event and campaign needs
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential to this role
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
Experience
• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, community outreach, or a related field
• Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or community-based organizations preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn marketing platforms, CRM systems, and databases
• Strong attention to detail with consistent follow-through
• Ability to interact professionally with internal teams, donors, and community partners
