Sunbury Family Eyecare is hiring! Growing optometry practice is seeking a full-time or part-time employee. No optometry experience necessary, will train dependable applicants who possess excellent people skills. Duties include but not limited to: scheduling, phones, pre-testing patients, and working with eyeglasses and contact lenses. Candidate should be familiar with computers and have a high-school diploma or equivalent. There will be some evening hours (until 7:00pm) and 2 Saturday mornings per month (8:00am-12:00pm). ***Hourly rate of pay based on experience.*** Prefer candidates apply in person, call 740-965-1165 with any questions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vision tests and assess patients' optical health.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Process sales transactions and manage inventory effectively.
- File and post insurance claims and payments.
- Accounts payable
- Assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their needs and preferences.
- Provide education on proper eyewear care and usage.
