Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator / Assistant Project Manager to join our growing construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to project planning, cost estimation, and overall project coordination. You will play a vital part in ensuring projects are accurately priced, efficiently managed, and successfully executed. Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements using tools like Procore & Building Connected
- Assist in developing project budgets
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers through effective negotiation to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
- Support project managers in coordinating construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality expectations.
- Contribute to the preparation of bid proposals by gathering accurate pricing data and supporting documentation.
Skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat for digital markup and document management.
- Strong negotiation skills to secure optimal pricing and contractual agreements.
- Experience with Procore or similar estimating software for accurate cost estimation.
- Solid understanding of construction estimating principles, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with contracts, project management methodologies, and cost control strategies within the construction industry.
MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED WITH A REPUTABLE COMMERCIAL LANDSCAPE CONTRACTOR!!!
