Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Pay Range: $14–$15 per hour
Mon-Fri: 8am-2pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregivers to provide support and assistance individuals. The caregiver will help with daily living activities, maintain a safe and supportive environment, and promote independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care needs such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide meal preparation and feeding assistance if needed
- Support with daily routines, behavioral goals, and social skills development
- Monitor and ensure safety in the home and community settings
- Offer companionship and engage the patient in appropriate activities
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to the patient's care
- Communicate effectively with family members and/or healthcare providers about the patient's needs and progress
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions
- Must be dependable and able to maintain confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification is required
- Tb skin test
Schedule:
- Flexible shifts available (part-time)
Pay: $ $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
