Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering responsibilities with precision
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable software
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly
- Culinary experience or food industry background preferred to better assist guests with menu questions
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Effective communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/host roles, or cashiering enhances your candidacy
- Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
- Familiarity with restaurant operations such as food preparation, guest services, and kitchen procedures
