Four Special Education Teacher positions are available in Ypsilanti, MI, to support students with diverse learning needs in both elementary and high school settings. These full-time contract roles start as soon as possible and continue through June 5, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction in classrooms serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Complex Instruction (CI) needs.
- Manage caseloads including 2 elementary ASD-CI rooms, 1 high school ASD room, and 1 resource room.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and family engagement.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and communicate regularly with parents and staff.
Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Special Education license with certification in Cognitive Impairment (CI) or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Experience teaching students with ASD and complex instructional needs preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively and provide differentiated instruction.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, families, and support staff.
