An educational institution in Auburn, WA is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable School Psychologist for a contract role. This position offers the opportunity to support students’ mental health and academic success through specialized psychological services within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being and promote positive behavior
- Interpret assessment data to guide instructional strategies and interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend services
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
