Qualifications
- Active RN license and BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU experience in a facility of similar scope and acuity
- Prior completion of at least one travel contract
- Solid telemetry skills and PCU proficiency; comfortable titrating set-rate drips
- Strong Med-Surg background; experience with lab draws as RNs pull their own labs
- Candidates must reside outside a strict 100-mile radius
Responsibilities
- Deliver competent, quality care to stepdown and Med-Surg patients
- Work with nasal, face masks, and BiPap RT equipment
- Collaborate closely with a supportive team including nurse aides (12:1 ratio)
- Participate in department-specific orientation and ongoing competency assessments
- Adhere to a professional navy scrub dress code
