Job Details:
Location: Baltimore
Start Date: 05/18/2026
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Shift: Nights (3x12s)
Hours: 7:00 pm – 07:30 am (36 hours/week; 48 hours may be available)
Compensation:
Competitive weekly pay package available
Local travelers accepted at a reduced local rate
Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory care across a mixed patient population (NICU through adult)
• Manage ventilated patients in high-acuity settings
• Work across multiple units including NICU, PICU, ER, and ICU
• Operate advanced respiratory equipment and support critical care interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a fast-paced hospital environment
Requirements:
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Strong PICU and NICU experience required (hard stop)
• Must be comfortable treating all age groups, including adult patients
• Previous travel experience required
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Clinical Environment:
• Level 4 NICU, PICU, ER, Level 1 Trauma Center
• Mixed patient population: Neonates through adults
• Average Daily Census: 6–7 ventilated patients
• Visits per Day: ~40
• Unit Size: 12 beds
• Ratio: 1:12
Equipment & Systems:
• Maquet Servo-i
• Draeger V500
• Jet Ventilation, Oscillation, Nitric Oxide
Additional Details:
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required within specialty and to sister units/facilities
• On-Call: Not required
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
