Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics CVICU for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12s (36 hours/week)
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend rotation: every other weekend (or as needed)
• Holiday requirement: up to 75% of holidays

Job Details

• Pediatric CVICU RN position
• Level I Pediatric Trauma facility
• 20-bed unit (split into two 10-bed sides)
• High-acuity patient population (ages 0–18)
• Traveler must reside 50 miles from facility

Patient Population

• Congenital heart conditions (pre/post-op, transplant patients)
• Post-cath lab, ECMO, Impella, VADs, dialysis, Aquadex
• RN ratios based on acuity: 1:1, 1:2, or 2:1

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience (high-acuity setting)
• BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with:
  • Fresh open heart post-op patients
  • ECMO, Impella, Aquadex (renal replacement therapy)
  • Transplant patients
• EPIC experience required
• Must be willing/able to float to PICU (and possibly NICU/Gen Peds as needed)

• Med Dispensing: Omnicell
• Monitors: Phillips
