Qualifications:
- Active RN license (compact or WA state)
- Minimum 1 year of recent NICU nursing experience
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Adaptability and commitment to evidence-based, family-centered care
- Previous experience in a teaching or large hospital setting is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to newborns in a Level II/III NICU
- Monitor patient conditions and collaborate with neonatologists and ancillary staff
- Provide patient and family education and emotional support
- Maintain meticulous documentation and adhere to established protocols
- Engage in quality improvement and safety initiatives
- Adjust to various shifts and contribute to a positive team environment
