Experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses are invited to contribute their skills to a dynamic healthcare team in Kennebunk, ME. This travel assignment offers the opportunity to work in a respected medical-surgical care unit through a 36-hour per week night shift schedule, providing critical care during hours of peak patient need.
Location Insight:Kennebunk, Maine, is a charming town renowned for its scenic coastal beauty, historic architecture, and welcoming community atmosphere. Nurses will experience a balance of professional fulfillment and the tranquility of New Englands waterfront living.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients during night shifts
- Monitor telemetry as needed, utilizing clinical expertise
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Ensure documentation is accurate and timely, adhering to all timecard submission rules for proper processing
- Maintain compliance with state vaccination requirements and hospital protocols
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN license, with current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
- Proven experience exclusively in medical-surgical nursing, ideally with telemetry exposure
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work 3 shifts per week: 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with every other weekend scheduled
- Commitment to state-mandated flu vaccination compliance
Schedule:
- 36 hours per week, 3 shifts of 12 hours each (night shift)
- No call or block scheduling required
