Schedule/Hours:
- 4 ten-hour shifts per week (7:00 am–5:30 pm)
- Call required after orientation: 12–15 days per 6 weeks, including 2 weekends of 24-hour call
- Weekday call hours: 5:30 am–7:00 am; Weekend: 7:00 am–7:00 am
Desired Qualifications:
- Active, PA state board-approved RN license
- Minimum BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
- Prior pediatric cardiac catheterization lab experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of congenital heart disease and advanced pediatric assessment skills
- Proficiency in both circulating and scrubbing roles, maintaining sterile technique
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient records, allergies, medications, and ensure informed consent
- Prepare cath lab rooms with necessary equipment and emergency resources
- Collaborate efficiently with physicians, anesthesia, APPs, and technologists
- Assist in diagnostic, interventional, electrophysiology, and biopsy procedures
- Operate point-of-care testing devices and manage contrast administration
