Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments and supplies for various surgical procedures.
- Assist surgical teams during general, trauma, ENT, neuro, gynecological, and robotic (Da Vinci) surgeries.
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
- Manage surgical instrumentation and ensure accurate setup for trauma and Level 1 trauma center cases.
- Support cardiac surgery teams, enhancing procedural efficiency and patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years as a Certified Surgical Tech (CST), preferably with Level 1 Trauma center experience.
- Comprehensive case experience including general, trauma, ENT, neuro, gynecology, and robotics surgeries. Cardiac surgical experience is highly valued.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a rotating shift schedule.
Schedule and Contract Details:
- Rotating shifts with 40 hours guaranteed plus on-call responsibilities.
- Contract duration of approximately 13 weeks starting January 5th or January 19th.
