Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency as a Sign Language Interpreter for educational settings
• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Authorization to work as an educational SLI
• EIPA score of 3.5 or above (required)
• Ability to travel between multiple sites within the district
• Experience supporting both general education and special education students is highly desirable
• Professionalism, interpersonal skills, and commitment to confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Provide sign language interpretation for students in both general and special education classrooms
• Support communication between students, teachers, and school staff
• Utilize your skills for a broad range of student needs, from mild to severe
• Adapt interpretation techniques to align with different instructional settings
• Maintain accurate records in line with education policies and confidentiality standards
• Move efficiently between multiple assigned school sites as needed
