School Psychologist in Wheaton, IL

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1 years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide essential psychological services in a dynamic K-12 school setting in Wheaton, IL, for a full semester contract. This role supports students' academic, social, and emotional development through comprehensive psychological assessments and intervention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological evaluations to identify student needs and support academic success.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans.
• Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes.
• Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to promote student well-being.
• Maintain detailed records and comply with all state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Illinois.
• Experience working with K-12 students in an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
