This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse specialized in Echocardiography to support a busy cardiac procedure area. This position requires a minimum of one years experience in conscious sedation administration and stress testing, working within a 4-bed unit where patient care ratios are 1:1. The schedule is days, 5 days a week from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with 36 guaranteed hours weekly over a 13-week contract assignment.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current RN license eligible or active in Missouri
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA
- At least one year of experience administering conscious sedation and/or performing stress tests
- Familiarity with TEE and stress testing is preferred
- Dependable team player with strong patient care skills
Responsibilities:
- Providing nursing care for cardiac patients undergoing echocardiographic procedures
- Administering conscious sedation safely and monitoring patient response
- Operating and maintaining equipment such as Zoll Defibrillators, IV pumps, and stress testing devices
- Documenting procedures and patient data accurately in the EPIC electronic medical record system
- Collaborating with the cardiac care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

- Black scrubs required as uniform
- Weekend and on-call shifts as needed by the facility
- Flu vaccination or approved exemption mandatory from November through April
- Contract assignment duration: 13 weeks
