Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Zachary, LA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure for the state of Louisiana
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates also welcome
• Experience working in pediatric and/or school-based settings
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans and therapy interventions for children in kindergarten through fifth grade
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy services to K–5 students in accordance with IEP goals
• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Engage in team meetings and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation, including progress notes and evaluations
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment
