Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive school-based speech-language evaluations, conduct assessments, and manage IEPs.
- Provide direct therapy to students across one or two campuses, ensuring a positive impact on communication skills.
- Supervise and mentor an on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), supporting their growth and maintaining high standards of care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to develop effective treatment plans and foster student success.
- Complete a blend of direct service and indirect administrative duties each week, with paid prep and meeting time.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required.
- Current Oregon State SLP license, or eligibility to obtain one before your start date.
- Must be able to work on-site at least four days per week; the fifth day may be remote for administration.
- Previously cleared or willing to complete fingerprinting and background checks prior to beginning the assignment.
- Ability to provide direct supervision to an SLPA is essential. (This position does not support Clinical Fellow [CF] candidates at this time.)
