Occupational Therapist School Setting in Bel Air, MD

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Experience working with K-8th grade students in one or more of the following: school-based, home health, or teletherapy settings
• Proficiency in assessing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address a spectrum of needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, families, and multidisciplinary support teams
• Ability to adapt to mixed caseloads and diverse work environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and design tailored interventions for students with various developmental, sensory, and physical challenges
• Deliver therapy through in-person sessions, teletherapy, and in some instances, home-based services
• Collaborate with educators and families to set goals, monitor progress, and support students’ educational achievements
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with regulations and policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development and implementation
