IR Technologist - Coolville, OH

Minimum 1 years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This opportunity is seeking an experienced Imaging Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician with recent hands-on experience in an IR Lab environment. The ideal candidate will bring at least two years of recent IR Lab expertise, with preference for those dual-trained in IR and Cath Lab procedures, capable of floating between units as needed.Key responsibilities include assisting physicians during minimally invasive imaging-guided procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, and thrombolysis. You will perform imaging on the heart and blood vessels, prepare patients for these procedures, and provide necessary patient education. Typically, you will support around three labs per day, managing 10 to 12 outpatient procedures daily, utilizing Phillips X-Ray equipment and documenting via Merge Hemo.Schedule details:Variable morning shift, Monday through Friday (start times between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM)Full-time, 40 hours per week (option of 5 eight-hour or 4 ten-hour shifts)On-call rotation approximately every 3 to 4 days during weekdays and every 3rd to 4th weekendNo routine weekend or holiday shifts unless on-callQualifications and certifications required:Minimum two years of recent IR Lab experienceCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) and ARRT certifications (RCIS not accepted)Valid Ohio Radiologic LicenseAbility to float to Cath Lab if dual-trainedPrevious work within 60 miles of this area and former MHS staff are not eligibleThis contract role spans 13 weeks, with start dates every other Wednesday. Orientation for non-RN travelers is conducted on Wednesdays, followed by unit-specific orientation on Thursdays.
