What are the responsibilities and job description for the Configuration Analyst position at Sunbelt-Solomon Solutions?
This position is responsible for verifying that technical information submitted by the commercial business unit is accurate and achievable within the scope of the engineering process.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Review work orders flagged by the Salesforce configurator for all locations, utilizing information submitted by commercial partners.
- Create detailed job files and update SYSPRO with accurate shop instructions and parts allocations.
- If specified, create binders for the operations team with fabrication drawings and tank layout. ensure books are updated to ensure data is archived.
- Collaborate with internal departments to communicate special requirements on a per-order basis.
- Serves as primary contact for technical support for designated area.
- Support commercial partners with technical guidance prior to order entry to ensure accuracy of specifications.
- RFQ’s: Quotes for specialty parts and coordination with service center purchasing team ordering and stocking of required parts.
- Nameplate verification: Contribute to ensure accurate data prior to production and delivery.
- Serve as final QC if specified by leadership to ensure products are shipped according to specifications.
- High School Diploma/GED, required, associate’s degree required.
- 3-5 years transformer manufacturing experience preferred.
- Software: Microsoft Excell, Outlook, AutoCAD, Syspro, Salesforce, Adobe Acrobat.
- Demonstrated excellence in technical writing, proofreading, and editing.
