As a Lead Field Decommissioning Technician, you’ll take ownership of the project from start to finish—overseeing a field team of 2–6 technicians, ensuring all work is performed safely, accurately, and in full compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. This role requires a confident leader who can guide others in the field, uphold the highest safety standards, and maintain clear, professional communication with both internal leadership and customer representatives. You’ll be responsible for coordinating daily tasks, monitoring team performance, and ensuring that project goals, timelines, and quality expectations are consistently met.
What You’ll Do
- Dismantle and remove equipment, materials, and infrastructure from operational sites using hand tools, pneumatic tools, plasma cutters, and AO equipment.
- Operate heavy machinery—including excavators and telehandlers—safely and efficiently.
- Work in demanding environments and extended shifts while maintaining professionalism and productivity.
- Follow all safety and environmental procedures, including spill-containment protocols and incident reporting.
- Complete assigned work orders and documentation accurately and on time.
- Travel up to 80% of the time, including frequent overnights.
