The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet established cleanliness, quality, and presentation standards. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations and assign tasks to team members
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, quality, and brand standards are met
- Train, coach, and support team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and guest service expectations
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and coordinate reordering as needed
- Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily staffing needs
- Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Support deep cleaning projects and seasonal cleaning initiatives
- Foster a positive team environment and address performance or operational concerns
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with other departments to support overall resort operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience required; prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to lead by example and support a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to safely use cleaning products, equipment, and tools
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn operational systems
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, poking, and reaching
- Can safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
