What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brass Ranch Boot Fitter position at Sun Valley Resort?
Sun Valley Resort is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused skier to join Brass Ranch as a Boot Fitter. Custom boot-fitting knowledge and skiing experience is a plus, and training is available.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with guests to select and custom-fit ski boots based on their preferences, skiing ability, and budget.
- Participate in brand clinics to learn about the products carried in store.
- Answer customers’ questions concerning the location, price, and use of merchandise.
- Focus on delivering 100% guest satisfaction.
- Accept payments and make change.
- Wrap, bag, and mail merchandise for customers.
- Communicate with the store supervisor about any unresolved guest concerns.
- Fold merchandise and organize the store daily.
- Remove and record the amount of cash in the register at the end of each shift.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Skiing or custom boot-fitting experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- While performing this job, the employee must walk, bend, feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
- Ability to safely move objects up to approximately 45 pounds about the workplace.
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts.
