About The Role
The **Quality Tester** is responsible for evaluating products, components, or software to ensure they meet defined quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. This role performs inspections, executes test plans, documents defects, and collaborates with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve overall product performance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform **functional, visual, and dimensional inspections** on products or components.
Execute **test plans, test cases, and validation procedures** according to company standards.
Identify, document, and track **defects, nonconformances, and deviations** using quality systems or software.
Conduct **root cause analysis** using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, or Pareto analysis.
Verify that products meet **customer specifications, drawings, and industry standards**.
Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, multimeters, or automated test equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to **resolve quality issues** and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate **inspection records, test reports, and quality documentation**.
Participate in **continuous improvement initiatives**, including Lean, Six Sigma, or process optimization activities.
Ensure compliance with **ISO 9001**, internal procedures, and safety requirements.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or associate degree; technical certification preferred.
