What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director - Program Services position at Sun Street Centers?
Oversight responsibility for a 55-bed men's residential Alcohol and Drug Abuse Treatment and Recovery program. Fiduciary responsibilities and general operations. Supervision, hiring, development and evaluation of staff. Contract negotiations; Grant and contract management. Budget development and implementation. Program planning and implementation to meet agency, program and participant goals. Community outreach for the advancement of prevention, treatment and recovery from substance abuse. Speaking presentations and representing the agency in the community and at events. Interagency liaison. Director II is responsible for multiple departments, and/or requiring masters level certification or degree.
Minimum Qualifications:
A four-year college degree, especially in social work, education, or related field, or State certification in substance use disorder, or equivalent, plus 3-5 years of administrative experience working with families with alcohol and/or drug abuse problems in a treatment or prevention, intervention, or recovery environment. Education requires State Department of Health Care SUD Certification.
NOTE: Employees will be required to be TB tested, fingerprinted, health screened for fitness for duty, and will be subject to clearance by the department of Justice.
