What are the responsibilities and job description for the DUI INSTRUCTOR - BILINGUAL, REGISTERED OR CERTIFIED position at Sun Street Centers?
The successful Registered or Certified Bilingual Candidate will be responsible for facilitating the DUI (Driving Under the Influence) program, serving the special needs of program participants involved with the behavioral health system or criminal justice system who are under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. Responsible for teaching the educational component of all Driving Under the Influence program levels; providing clients with appropriate placement and orientation within the DUI program; conducting all levels of DUI group counseling services. Maintain a high level of confidentiality. Counselors conduct group and education classes and all aspects of client intakes.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
AOD background and/or education and must be registered with a qualified State licensing body to provide alcohol/drug instruction. If in recovery, a minimum of two years of sobriety. Bilingual is required.
NOTE: Employees will be required to be fingerprinted to be cleared by the Department of Justice.
