Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all residential areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, and outdoor areas as needed.
• Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure surfaces are hygienic and safe.
• Conduct floor cleaning and care, including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying floor polish or treatments to maintain a polished appearance.
• Manage laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing for clients.
• Use proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy objects or moving furniture to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness of cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored properly and in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide excellent customer service while respecting their privacy and preferences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping, with knowledge of janitorial or custodial practices.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, dusting techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and outdoor work experience is preferred.
• Ability to handle cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while following sanitation guidelines.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and outdoor work as required.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures involving various detergents and disinfectants is essential for maintaining high standards of sanitation.
