Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of cabin interiors, including floors, seats, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel emergency procedures to ensure proper use and storage of cleaning products.
• Vacuum carpets and upholstery to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Conduct sanitation of high-touch areas such as armrests, tray tables, door handles, and control panels to prevent the spread of germs.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving cleaning supplies or furniture while adhering to manual handling safety guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Support hotel housekeeping management by following established protocols for cleanliness, safety, and guest service excellence.

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to handle cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and chemical sprayers efficiently.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning is advantageous.
• Familiarity with safety procedures related to chemical handling and sanitation practices in a hospitality setting.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience with hotel emergency procedures ensures preparedness for any unforeseen situations requiring quick action.
• Physical capability for manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
