What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Renovator/Maintenance Technician position at Sun Residential?
Sun Residential is a local, family-owned and operated Property Management company that has been proudly serving our Louisville community for over 30 years. Our portfolio consists of approximately 1800 apartments in south, central, and east Louisville.
We are currently looking for candidates with experience in apartment/home renovations to fill full-time positions at our main office at 710 Barret Ave. This office services our scattered site properties in the Old Louisville, Germantown, Crescent Hill, Highlands, and Iroquois Park neighborhoods. Regular hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm with rotating on-call.
The right candidate is able to perform proficiently the following tasks:
- Drywall patching/repair, minor painting
- Minor electrical work: replacing/adding fixtures, switches & outlets
- Trim carpentry: installing baseboards, trim, quarter round, etc
- Installation of door hardware
- Appliance assembly, installation, and basic repair
- Ability to learn and understand our apartment turn and maintenance processes

Candidates must have all the necessary tools required or be willing to acquire them upon offer acceptance. Candidates must have their own vehicle as well as possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and registration. Drug test and criminal background check required.
