Role Overview:
As a Licensed Public Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in advocating for policyholders during the insurance claims process. Responsibilities:
1. Client Representation:
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and insurance companies, advocating for clients’ best interests throughout the claims process.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ insurance policies to determine coverage limits, exclusions, and applicable benefits.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on their rights and options under their insurance policies.
2. Claims Preparation:
• Collect and analyze documentation, evidence, and estimates of property damage to support clients’ claims.
• Prepare detailed claim reports, including itemized lists of losses, repair costs, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure that all claim documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in accordance with insurance company requirements.
3. Negotiation and Settlement:
• Negotiate with insurance company adjusters on behalf of clients to maximize claim settlements.
• Utilize strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve disputes, address discrepancies, and secure favorable outcomes for clients.
• Keep clients informed of the progress of their claims and provide regular updates on negotiations and settlement offers.
4. Compliance and Licensing:
• Maintain a valid Public Adjuster license in compliance with state regulations and licensing requirements.
• Stay informed of changes in insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and uphold ethical standards of practice.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all interactions with clients, insurance companies, and regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
• A valid Public Adjuster license in the applicable state(s) is required.
• Proven experience as a Public Adjuster or similar role in the insurance industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types, and claim procedures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on customer service and client satisfaction.
