Job Summary:
We are a golf equipment manufacturer in Missoula, MT looking for a Custom Operations Coordinator. This is a full-time, in-office position. This role is a key part of Sun Mountain’s custom business, supporting the setup and execution of customized (embroidery/heat transfer/etc) golf products. This position plays an important role in delivering a high-quality, efficient customer experience while supporting growth in green grass, corporate and team sales.
We are seeking a dedicated Custom Operations Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will be part of a team that’s the primary point of contact for custom orders, ensuring accuracy, speed and a positive customer experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Demonstrate superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Work as a team member to achieve quality and accuracy of embroidery items.
• Demonstrate positive customer service skills, internally and externally, with effective communication, respect, and integrity.
• Be dependable and consistently report to work on time prepared to perform duties of the position.
• Work with digital files and programs to set up logos and monograms.
• Update and maintain customer information in the internal management system accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain orders submitted by external and internal sales staff. Check for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments.
• Assist internal and external sales staff with maintaining Microsites utilizing customization.
• Handle independently or work closely with designated sales producers to ensure customer service needs are addressed in effective and efficient manner.
• Communicate with our embroidery team in the warehouse to execute orders efficiently.
• Record and confirm customer requests in writing to ensure accuracy.
• Create and send digital mockups generated in Adobe Illustrator for customer approval.
• Answer account questions in Customization Department phone queue.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• 2- year and/or equivalent business experience preferred or equivalent amount of school (4 years college).
• A track record of providing excellent customer service.
• Eagerness to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Personally driven to be proactive and detail oriented.
• Motivated to be a team player and help others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate, etc.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in customer service is a plus.
• Previous experience in a customer service role preferred but not required.
• Passion for Golf a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time, ability to use a computer/keyboard for long periods of time.
